Although the above result went through a couple minor on-the-fly changes during the creation process, I can say I am incredibly
pleased with the outcome!
When I was mulling over what to do for a shadowbox that I could eventually sell, ~IAmArkain
suggested something Doctor Who; so here it is! With as much time and effort I was putting into this project, I started getting really nervous about really botching the whole thing up while working on the final details. Yet all went well and I have my first shadowbox project that I'm going to be selling soon! The post will be made on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Rhedrin…
and posted in my journal here on dA (which will just reference you to the page, so you might as well just go Like it now!).
Oh, and if this wasn't already bad-ass enough, IT LIGHTS UP! Yup, I worked in a strand of battery operated LED lights that illuminate the face, TARDIS and a few stars when switched on. Wanting to do that part alone had me trying new things to get it all to work. Things I will have to improve on for future projects, but wonderful beginnings none-the-less!
